Occupy 2012- the American Spring occupies the EPA
WASHINGTON, April 3, 2012-The Occupy movement vowed for a renewal in the spring. Under the Occupy 2012 banner of the “American Spring,” the movement spearheaded the largest protest ever against the Environmental Protection Agency/EPA last Friday in Washington D.C.
Hundreds of demonstrators and two alpacas marched to the Environmental Protection Agency headquarters on Friday, the first day of a planned month long National Occupation of D.C. movement (dubbed NOWDC).

Occupy DC protesters evicted from McPherson Square
Washington, February 4th 2012 – At 5:30 am Saturday, District Park Police began a systematic eviction of the Occupy D.C. camp at McPherson Square at 15th and K Street NW.
Arriving on horseback and motorcycles, police encircled the camp and authorities with a riot squad immediately took control of the General McPherson Statue in the center of the park- which occupiers earlier in the week encased with a tarp to make a “mega tent” in opposition to Park Police enforcing the mandate of no sleeping in public parks.
